Help us to forgive others as we receive your forgiveness.

Help us to learn and to work together.

Help us to listen when we should and to know the best words

when we speak and when it is better not to speak.

Bless our family and keep us safe.

Be with us as we travel each day.

Help us to be aware of your love shown to us in the people

around us.

We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.

MORNING PRAYER

Lord Jesus, I offer you my soul, my mind, and my heart. Make of me God's instrument.

Give me a penetrating mind to discover, firm to judge, open to understand, free to serve the truth;

an honest mind in telling what it sees rather than what it wants to see;

a tolerant mind which does not dictate to other people, but which explain what it sees clearly;

a mind infused by your light and your truth, patient in faith, while waiting for the vision of eternal life.

MORNING PRAYERS

I’m special, in all the world there is nobody like me.

Since the beginning of time, there has never been another person like me.

Nobody has my smile.

Nobody has my eyes, my nose, my hands, my voice.

I’m special.

Nobody anywhere has my tastes for food or music or art.

No one sees things just as I do.

In all of the time, there has been no one who laughs like me,

no one cries like me.

And what makes me laugh and cry will never provoke identical laughter and tears from anybody else, ever.

Lord, help me to realise it is no accident that I’m special.

Challenge our hearts and minds as we strive to live the Gospel values of kindness, respect and service of others.

Lead us to those most in need, to places and situations gripped by poverty and neglect.

Guide our world in the ways of peace and tolerance.

May your mercy be a light of hope, a way of freedom, and a source of truth.
