Please help me to have the courage to follow my dreams. Help me
with the determination to carry them out.
Give me the patience to deal with negativity, the fortitude to accept defeat or failure.
Give me the strength to overcome my barriers.
Strengthen the hope that motivates me.
Give me the desire that makes my will strong.
I know you have given me what it takes to be a success; please help me to use it to my best potential.

Why is May the Month of Mary?
MORNING PRAYER (01/05/2019)
MARIAN MONTH
The month of May, for the last few centuries, has been given to remembering and honouring Mary, the Mother of God. Falling within our 50 day celebration of Easter it calls the place of Mary in the redemptive work of her Son. In the Council of Ephesus (432) Mary was declared the Mother of God and has been honourned as such by all the Christian Churches. Pope John Paul IV, in his Encyclical about May devotions reminds us that Mary has no other mission than to bring us to her Son, Jesus Christ. So as we pray let us seek to understand as Mary did, what it means to be a follower of Christ.
