Take time to read, it is the fountain of wisdom.

Take time to pray, it is the greatest power on earth.

Take time to love and be loved, it is a God given privilege.

If my God is calling,

Why is it that I cannot hear?

Be it my struggles in work,

My troubles with my family,

Or am I just not listening?

For those who do not listen fail to hear.

This is me, God, I shall do what you ask of me.

I ask for your strength and power,

For the will to hear and fulfil your commandment.

MORNING PRAYER (Wednesday 11^th August 2021)

Dear God,

I am aware that I appear as a quiet person to those who do not know me. This is a valid observation; I often do keep to myself. Yet I am not always serious. I love to joke, laugh, and make others laugh. I possess the ability to make others laugh, but I only feel comfortable sharing my gift with those closest to me. Please help me to do as Peter instructed, “Like good stewards on the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received” (1 Peter 4:10).
