    MORNING PRAYER (Thursday 23rd 2022)

    Dear Lord,

    We pray for our faith community as we gather to celebrate the Eucharist. May we grow in our appreciation of Christ’s Body given for us and his Blood shed for us as we live as Jesus showed us.

    We pray for the children making their commitment for the Sacrament of Confirmation. May they deepen their faith in the Gospel and open their hearts to Your Spirit and bring to fulfilment the good work that You have begun in them.

    We pray for the sick and for all who have asked for our prayers.

    We pray for those who have died recently and for those whose anniversaries occur at this time. May they now share in the banquet of God’s eternal kingdom.

    Merciful God, creator of heaven and earth, bring your peace, your life and your love to the world.

    We ask this through Jesus Christ, the Living Bread from heaven.

    Amen.
