                                                       RECONCILIATION TAKES ACTION

     

    MORNING PRAYER (Monday 7th June 2021)

    Yesterday was the Feast of Corpus Christi (the Body and Blood of Christ). This week we have also celebrated Aboriginal Reconciliation Week.

    Let us remember the blood of Aboriginals that has been spilt in this country. Let us remind ourselves that this is the blood of Christ, since Christ dwells in every human being. Let us as a nation make every effort to be reconciled with our Aboriginal brothers and sisters by doing everything in our power to bring about a just and fair settlement with the original inhabitants of this great land. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.

    Amen.
