        SAINT MARY MACKILLOP: FIRST AUSTRALIAN SAINT

     

    MORNING PRAYER (Thursday 02 January 2020)

    O God, you suffer with your people in times of hardship.

    You raised up Mary MacKillop as a woman of faith

    who lived by the power of the cross.

    May she inspire us to be strong in faith and hope as

    we carry our cross each day.

    Deepen within us that love which leads us through death to life.

    We make our prayer through Christ our Lord.

    Blessed Mary of the Cross, accepting of the cross in life,

    pray for us.

    Amen.
