In the Gospel, an angel tells Joseph in a dream not to be afraid. Mary’s baby is the saviour! Joseph has a special job now. He is going to look after Mary and the baby – and they will call him “Jesus”. Jesus will be “God-with-us”!
Dear Jesus, help me not to be afraid. Help me to trust you and know that you are always with me, just like Joseph did.
Amen.
