THIRTY-FIRST SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME – YEAR C
30 OCTOBER 2022
A REFLECTION (Luke 19: 1-10)
ZACCHAEUS, COME DOWN. HURRY. Great wealth had not brought happiness to Zacchaeus, a despised tax collector in prosperous Jericho. Having wandered away from God, he was lost. Then he met Jesus, the rabbi who consorted with sinners; and his life was never to be the same again. We are called to imitate Zacchaeus in his repentance and Jesus in his merciful love.
