  Dear Lord,

   

  We pray for those who face new beginnings in the year ahead: students choosing courses of study, those seeking employment, couples preparing for marriage, widows and widowers now alone.

   

  May they be strengthened by the Spirit and guided by Christ’s message of the gospels.

   

  Lord, hear us.              Lord, hear our prayer.
