  MORNING PRAYER (Friday 8^th October 2021)

  Dear Lord,

  I know how I am supposed to act,

  But  sometimes it seems so hard.

  When one of my friends is sick,

  I should stop and visit, or even send a card.

  If the snow has blocked the doorway

  of my next-door neighbour’s house,

  I should go over with my shovel as quiet as a mouse.

  I should do it because I want to,

  never expect pay.

  You said: “You know the way to the place where I am going”

  (John 14:4)

  This is the path that I choose.

  This way I know I can’t possibly lose.

  I know I can make it through the day.

  After all, I saw your loving way.

  Amen.
