    Dear God,

    You are all powerful and all knowing. Everything comes from you. When I asked forgiveness, you forgave me. When I was troubled, you gave me confidence and courage to help me make it through the hard times. When I was lost, you showed me the light. When I needed a friend, you were there for me. When I had to make a tough decision, you helped me to stand up for what was right. Oh, God, by your words and actions, you have told me never to give up, but instead come to you and you will take care of my every need.

    Amen.
