  MORNING PRAYER (Tuesday 22nd June 2021)

  For the gift of faithfulness:

  To live the Gospel as You preached it plainly and simply;

  Response: Lord hear us.

  For the gift of sensitivity:

  To empty ourselves and serve the needs of others and gently wash their feet;

  Response: Lord hear us.

  For the gift of honesty:

  To see things as they really are. To especially see the things we do not want to see;

  Response: Lord hear us.

  For the gift of patience:

  To wait for the fullness of Your kingdom coming to birth in ourselves and in others;

  Response: Lord hear us.

  For the gift of kindness:

  To extend the care and concern to others, that you constantly extend to us;

  Response: Lord hear us.

  For the gift of encouragement:

  To never be afraid of others’ gifts and to affirm them with a word of praise;

  Response: Lord hear us.

  For the gift of prayerfulness:

  That depend on Your power and calls us to deep reflection in our lives;

  Response: Lord hear us.

  For the gift of joyful heart:

  To celebrate the holiness of the ground we stand on and the sacredness of every creature;

  Response: Lord hear us.

  For the gift of unselfishness:

  To let go of things that do not matter and work for the healing of injustice;

  Response: Lord hear us

  For the gift of dedication:

  To stand sure and convinced of the need to stay with what cries out to be served;

  Response: Lord hear us

  For the gift of freedom:

  To move into unknown and untried. To see the opportunities of each day. To serve the compassion, imagination and courage.

  Response: Lord hear us

  Let us remember in prayer all those who have died, our friends, our parents and siblings, and all those who have touched our lives.
