MORNING PRAYER (Wednesday 04^th November 2020)

Returning to the soul-place

 

Mercy God, we ask forgiveness

for whatever is wrong in our lives.

If we are causing unnecessary hurt.

or treating someone unfairly;

If we have knowingly broken a promise,

or failed to keep a trusted confidence;

If we have been dishonest, or conspired

against someone for our own advantage;

If jealously is distorting our mind,

or bitterness has a hold on our soul;

If principles, traditions, or possessions

have become more important than people;

In the name of Jesus our homecoming,

help us own our fault and seek our true self;

A return us to the soul-place where we

are free to seek wholeness and change.
