    Dear Deacon Dinh,

Our Gospel this Sunday reminds us that no one escapes the heartbreak of loss. Grief can crush our spirits, but Jesus tells us not to lose hope. With the dawn, the sun rises again. Out of the frigid frozen ground, new life springs forth. When faced with loss, we can lean into God’s love and it will carry us through to new life.

    Prayer

Gentle God, as we face loss, open our bruised and discouraged hearts to receive your love. Let it soothe and comfort our broken spirits. Plant and water the seeds of hope in our hearts and world. Stay with us through the dark night and bring us into the dawn of a new day. Come Holy Spirit, lead us from death to new life.

Continue your Lenten Journey with our Reflection Guide for the 4th Sunday of Lent.

Note that we also now have an audio version of each reflection guide that will be posted as a link underneath the Cycle B reflection guide for each week.  Don't forget to also check out our other Lenten Resources.

    Peace,

Fr. Alfonso and the Maryknoll Mission Education Team
